We welcome writers, editors, and industry analysts covering the fields of high performance computing, networking, storage, and analysis to attend the SC Conference. With your media credentials, the conference offers you an unparalleled opportunity to mingle with the world’s leading experts in HPC. Our dedicated media room is available for meetings and interviews.
All media registration requests must be approved by conference management and are subject to revocation. View media registration requirements.

New this year—please pick up your conference badge at SC19 Registration in Lobby F. Find the sign that says “Media”. Previously, media badges were available in the Media Office. We look forward to seeing you in Denver.
Media Office
Room 113
Your home base while at SC. We will have a printer available for your use and light refreshments will be provided daily. Access to the office is restricted to those with media credentials, although guests are permitted if accompanied. Locks and lockers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Interview rooms are available for your use, but you need to sign up now to secure your spot and avoid confusion at the conference. Due to high demand, each organization will be limited to two 30-minute time slots unless we have extra time available. Below are the timeframes available. Please contact Jacqueline Perini with your top 3 preferred time slots as soon as possible so that we can match you with two time slots. You will be notified via email of your final schedule.

SC19 Press Briefing
Monday, November 18, 12–1 pm, Room 111
Join us for the annual SC19 Press Briefing. This year we will focus on the impact of HPC on broader technology innovation with a special presentation by Sergio Boixo, Chief Scientist Quantum Computing Theory, Google AI Quantum. SC19 General Chair Michela Taufer will open with a conference overview and highlights for the week and we will again partner with the TOP500 executives to share the release of the TOP500, GREEN500, and HPCG lists.
Media Luncheon
Monday, November 18, 1–1:30 pm, Room 113
Immediately following the SC19 Press Briefing, please join us for a complimentary luncheon where you can casually network and conduct side interviews in a relaxed environment. Box lunches and beverages will be provided in Room 113.
Exhibits Guided Tours (New for SC19)
Tuesday–Wednesday, November 19–20, 11 am & 2 pm
Join us for a guided tour of the highlights of the Exhibit Hall to see how the latest technologies will shape the future of large-scale technical computing and data-driven science. We will depart for the tours from the Media Office (Room 113). Please arrive by 10:45 am or 1:45 pm on Tuesday and/or Wednesday.
Conference Etiquette
Media/analysts are only permitted in the Exhibition during open hours. In addition, filming or recording in technical sessions (including the Keynote and the Plenary Session) is restricted. Violation of any SC policy could result in the revocation of your media credentials. Additionally, you are expected to abide by the official SC Code of Conduct.
