Biography
Dr. Hamid Reza Zohouri comes from an Electrical and Computer Engineering background with multiple years of focus on FPGA-based design. He got his PhD from Tokyo Institute of Technology in Mathematical and Computing Sciences where he studied the potential of using reconfigurable hardware for accelerating high-performance computing applications using High Level Synthesis (HLS). He is currently an Applied Research Scientist at Edgecortix Inc., a deep tech startup based in Tokyo and Singapore, automating machine learning-driven AI hardware and software co-design for an intelligent distributed edge ecosystem. His interests are hardware/software co-design and performance optimization for FPGAs, and high-performance computing.
