Philip Cass is an HPC Systems Specialist at EPCC. After doing a mixture of desktop support and administering local college clusters for the University of Edinburgh for several years, in 2015 he moved to EPCC to help administer UK national HPC services such as ARCHER and DiRAC. Philip has since been responsible for much of the scripting used for management and administration of HPC services at EPCC, and designed and implemented the current monitoring solution. Philip has a special interest in monitoring, metrics, and systems architecture.
