Biography
Pouya Kousha is a third-year PhD student at the department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. His research interest are High Performance Computing, Scalable Profiling Tools, Parallel and Distributed Algorithms, and High Performance Machine Learning. He has been working in the Network Based Computing Laboratory (NOWLAB) with Prof. D K Panda since 2017. He has published in multiple conferences and contributed to various open source software including MVAPICH2 and OSU INAM. His work are on various aspects of MPI_T designs in MVAPICH family, taking the lead on OSU INAM project: improving performance, scalability, reliability, introducing profiling tools for NVLink-enabled GPU clusters, enabling intra-node and inter profiling and visualization to provide comprehensive insight for MPI developers, system admins and domain scientists. He is looking for internship opportunities related to his research interests.
