John Linford
Biography
John Linford is a Principal Engineer at Arm where he leads a global team building technical solutions for Arm-based supercomputers. His interests include emerging computer architectures, compilers, code generation, performance analysis, and physical modeling and simulation. John created the Kppa tool for simulating chemical kinetics and is one of the developers of TAU Commander and other open source projects. While working on airborne radar systems at Northrop Grumman, John received Virginia Tech's Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award for his work on computer science applications as a National Defense Science and Engineering fellow. He lives in Austin, TX.
