Claudia Misale

Biography
Claudia Misale is a Research Staff Member in the Cloud and Cognitive Solutions, Data Centric Systems group at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center (NY). Her research is focused on porting scientific HPC workflows to the Cloud, with a particular focus on providing HPC-oriented scheduling alternatives to containers orchestrator for IBM Cloud Private platforms, and she is also collaborating in the user API implementation and maintenance for the Data Broker, a library and programming model to help applications in workflows to share data in the form of named tuples. She is mainly interested in cloud computing and container technologies, and her background is on high level programming models and patterns for parallel and distributed computing, big data analytics on HPC platforms.
