Biography
Dr. Guido Juckeland heads the Computation Science Department at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), Germany. This department hosts the newly established groups soft RSE-competence from HIFIS, the Helmholtz Federated IT Services, as well as one of the AI consultant team for helmholtz.ai (HAICU).

Guido's work in part focuses on better usability and programmability research software, especially for hardware accelerators, and profile driven development. He is the vice-chair of the SPEC High Performance Group (HPG) and Secretary of OpenACC. Dr. Juckeland earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, for his on trace-based performance analysis for hardware accelerators.
