Denis is a Pre-Doctoral Fellow with the National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center, and a PhD Candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. His research includes learning computable representations of concepts and entities, word/term sense disambiguation, natural language processing for clinical text, and modeling information about human activity and disability.
