Raymond Leto

Biography
President of TotalSim US, Ray Leto has 30 years of experience in race engineering, aerodynamics, simulation and management, with over 10,000 hours of wind tunnel and track testing. A 1985 graduate in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State he began his career as a race mechanic and engineer progressing through many different roles for racing organizations including aerodynamicist, chief race engineer, technical director and general manager.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of TotalSim, Ray manages TotalSim’s HPC systems and works directly on clients’ projects in CFD, wind tunnel and on-track testing and supports customer installations of TotalSim software.
Ray has been PI or Co-PI on funded projects from the DoE, NSMC, USAF, and the Ohio Third Frontier. Ray is an organizer and peer reviewer for SAE’s Motorsports Engineering and Aerodynamics Committees, holds a seat on the Advisory Boards of Ohio State SIMCenter and UNC-Charlotte Motorsports program.
