Ana Gainaru
Biography
Ana Gainaru is a research assistant professor in the EECS department at the Vanderbilt University, working on performance optimization and resiliency for large scale scientific applications and on designing new runtime systems for highly irregular big data workflows. She received her PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on designing and optimizing preventive and proactive fault tolerance mechanisms for High-Performance Computing systems. She is on the editorial board for IJHPCA and JPDC, and was the co-chair for the Poster session at SC18.
