Ahmed Al-Jarro is a Principal Researcher and Technical Lead at the Artificial Intelligence Research Division, Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe Ltd., London, UK. He has a demonstrated history of working in the academic research and industrial R&D. He is skilled in Deep Learning, High Performance Computing (HPC), Numerical Methods, and Machine Learning. He is currently working on the development of novel and large-scale deep learning algorithms applied to solve various technical challenges in HPC for scientific computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Ahmed has a B.Eng. degree in Electronic Engineering with Spanish and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK. From 2010-2012, he was a Research Fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, (KAUST), Thuwal, KSA. From 2012-2014, he was a Senior Research Fellow at University College London, London, UK. In 2014, he joined Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe Ltd., London, UK.
