Kemafor Anyanwu (Ogan), Ph.D. has been an Associate Professor of Computer Science at North Carolina State University (NC State) since 2014. She obtained her Ph.D. degree from the University of Georgia in 2007 and began a faculty position as an Assistant Professor at NC State the same year. She directs the Semantic Computing and Big Data research laboratory at NC State where she has graduated several Ph.D. and MS students. Her work is funded by grants from public and private organizations such as the National Science Foundation, the United States Office of Naval Research, IBM, Bosh Global Services and so on.
