Biography
Walid Keyrouz is a Computer Scientist in the Software and Systems Group of the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Dr. Keyrouz received his MS and PhD from Carnegie Mellon University. His first involvement with HPC was in his masters thesis which analyzed the use of array processors and MIMD machines for finite element implementations. Before joining NIST, he was a research scientist at Schlumberger and a professor of Computer Science at the American University in Beirut, Lebanon.
