I just finished my 3rd year in my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Utah. I am currently studying computer science and this summer I worked on modeling different weave designs for Thermal Protection Systems at the NASA Advanced Supercomputing center at NASA Ames Research Center. This was my first significant experience with high performance computing and it was amazing. Walking by and seeing the Pleiades Supercomputer was very motivating and I want to learn more about supercomputing.

In my free time I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee, scuba diving and running. I am fascinated with about modeling different environments and I am learning more about computational fluid dynamics in my spare time.
