Biography
TSC Chairman, CCIX Consortium

Millind Mittal is a Xilinx Fellow with the focus on technologies enabling broader deployment of FPGAs as accelerators in data-centers. He formulated the initial direction for a standardized cache coherent interconnect between the hosts and accelerators (CCIX) and played a critical role in on-boarding of the founding members of the CCIX consortium. He is currently Chairman of TSC for CCIX, and has been working as the chief architect for CCIX efforts (device products as well solutions offerings) at Xilinx since its inception. In addition to CCIX, he now is also the chief architect for CXL efforts at Xilinx. Prior to Xilinx, Millind worked as lead architect and engineering manager at AppliedMicro and Intel. He has also been founder of three start-ups spanning across networking and sever-acceleration space. He hold more than 130 patents. He earned his MS in Computing from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute and Bachelors from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
