Lars Schneidenbach
Biography
Dr. Schneidenbach is a Software Designer at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. He received a Diplom degree in computer science in 2003 and a Ph.D. degree in computer science in 2010 both from the University Potsdam (Germany). He joined IBM Ireland in 2008, where he has worked on application analysis and enablement for the Blue Gene supercomputer. In 2011, he moved to IBM Research and worked on scalable high-performance key-value storage and direct storage access middleware in the context of data-centric computing and was also a major contributor to the R&D of the system management software of the Sierra and Summit supercomputers. He is an author or coauthor of several technical papers. He is currently leading the design and development of the Data Broker.
