Biography
Doug Doerfler is a Computer Systems Engineer at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory’s National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center (NERSC). As a member of the Advanced Technology Group, he leads efforts in benchmarking and architectural evaluation of high performance computing systems and technologies, with the goal of a better understanding of those technologies and how they may be applicable to NERSC’s requirements for future platforms. In addition, he is active in high-performance computing architecture research and co-design activities with industrial partners and is a member of a variety of community steering and technical committees.
