Masafumi Yamazaki is a senior researcher at Fujitsu laboratories. He joined Fujitsu's semiconductor division in 1996 and worked on the circuit design for products such as custom memory and dynamic reconfigurable processors. Since 2010, he was involved in the development and operation of large-scale distributed systems. In 2015, he was transferred to Fujitsu Laboratories. His research interests are deep learning applications and acceleration of them using parallel computing.
