Matt Koop is the Worldwide Tech Lead for Compute and HPC at AWS, which he joined in 2018. Prior to joining AWS, he held positions focused on large-scale system architecture and optimization at Dell EMC, Schlumberger, and the DoD HPC Modernization Program. Matt holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Ohio State University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Calvin College.
