Dr Oliver Thomson Brown is an Applications Consultant in HPC at EPCC. His background is in many-body quantum theory, but now his primary research interest is programming models for exascale. Most recently he has been developing a cost model for memory accesses for EPiGRAM-HS, an EU FET HPC project looking at programming models of heterogeneous exascale machines. He is a lecturer and project supervisor on EPCC's MSc programme.
