Ingrid has more than 20 years of experience in HPC in the academic sector. Ingrid’s career includes several years as system administrator of supercomputers and scientific software user support as well as management roles on supercomputing and e-Administration services. During this years she has been in charge of the whole life cycle of several HPC acquisition projects from its initial design, procurement writing and evaluation, planning and deployment as well as the operation of the services.

Ingrid is currently member of the KU Leuven university HPC User Support Team. She is the project leader of the Flemish Supercomputing Centre (VSC) Tier-1b system (BrENIAC) and also member of the operational management team of the VSC Tier-1 Supercomputing as a Service project to create an integrated supercomputing platform based on three components: Compute, Data and Cloud.
