Devanshu Agrawal is a doctoral student in data science and engineering in the Bredesen Center at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a research assistant in the Biomedical Science, Engineering, and Computing group at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His research focuses on combining deep learning, Bayesian probability, and kernel methods to develop uncertainty quantification methods for information extraction from cancer pathology reports. He is also interested in kernel-based approaches to foundational deep learning as well as leveraging HPC to scale deep Bayesian models.
