Dr. Stewart He earned his BS from UC Berkeley in electrical engineering and computer science and her PhD from UC Davis in computer science. In 2017 he became a data scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He has since focused on applying machine learning to the field of bioinformatics, specifically predicting growth response. He is part of the predictive biology effort at the Data Science Institute at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. When he's not at work he is a level 7 monk, triathelete, and amateur Chinese chef.
