Pierre-Yves Aquilanti is a Sr. HPC Specialized Solutions Architect at AWS. He has been working in HPC for the last 12 years in France, Singapore and Houston covering different roles in R&D, software development and optimization, user support and training. In his current role, Pierre-Yves helps customers to leverage AWS to scale their HPC workloads. He worked on the first 1 million core production run ever made in the Cloud. His current industries of focus include Oil and Gas, Autonomous Vehicles, and Computer Assisted Engineering. Pierre-Yves holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Lille, France.
