Biography
Gerrett Diamond is a PhD candidate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute studying computer science. He primarily works on partitioning and load balancing for massively parallel simulations including finite element methods, fluid simulations, and plasma physics. In 2015, Gerrett worked at Sandia National Labrotories working on partitioning routines in Zoltan 2. Since 2014, he has been a part of the Scientific Computation Research Center (SCOREC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute working on partitioning and support for unstructured mesh applications. He also has interests in algorithms and methods for accelerators and many-core machines.
