James Laros
Biography
James H. Laros III is a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. His wide range of experience spans more than 30 years, the vast majority of which has been focused on large-scale High Performance Computing topics. James leads a number of programs at Sandia including the Advanced Architecture test-bed program and the Vanguard Advanced Technology Prototype program. James also serves as the Lead Architect for Crossroads, the NNSA’s 3rd Advanced Technology System. James was the founding principal investigator of the High Performance Computing Power Application Programming Interfaces Specification, now a community led standard in the area of power and energy measurement and control.
