Chahm An is principal software engineer at Webroot, a Carbonite company, where he focuses on leveraging machine learning and deep learning to conquer the big data issue in cybersecurity. Chahm received a master’s degree in theoretical biochemistry from The Scripps Research Institute in 2006. Following graduation, Chahm entered the speech recognition industry as a speech scientist for LumenVox. Shifting industries, Chahm joined FICO to work as a lead data scientist. In 2014, he joined Webroot, a Carbonite company, in his current position in Machine Learning research.
