Abstract: The presentation deals with the following:

- Assembling in parallel a 3D jigsaw puzzle ball.

- Parallel sorting of binary coded numbered cards.

- Using the twenty one card trick and its generalizations to motivate beginning students of Computer Science and Mathematics.
