Overview

The Exhibitor Forum furnishes manufacturers, vendors, and HPC service providers with a venue to deliver technical presentations open to all conference attendees. It is a great opportunity to showcase a technology or use case to a large audience outside the confines of an exhibit space. Presentations should focus on technical challenges and solutions. Those with a marketing focus will not be accepted. Sessions will include topics at the forefront of HPC such as data, HPC services, usability, and networking. The Exhibitor Forum topic areas are:

  • Hardware and Architecture
  • Moving, Managing, and Storing Data
  • Effective Application of HPC
  • Software for HPC
  • HPC Futures and Exascale
  • Networking
  • Artificial Intelligence and Analytics

Each Exhibitor Forum session is 90 minutes and presentations are 30 minutes each.

Preparing Your Submission

Format

Your session information will be submitted via a web form (an abstract of no more than 150 words) and an optional file upload (i.e. white paper, presentation, or other material). Do not submit company-confidential information, since this file will be disseminated to the Exhibitor Forum review committee.

Presenters

The presenter’s name should appear exactly as you want it to appear in the online SC schedule.

Where to Submit

Exhibitor Forum proposals are submitted via the SC submissions website. View a sample submission form.

Review Criteria

Exhibitor Forum presentations must be associated with an industry Exhibits booth at SC. Exhibitor Forum proposals are reviewed by experts and are evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Alignment of content to the topic areas listed in the overview above and/or the SC19 conference theme, “HPC Is Now”
  • Demonstrated or potential impact on HPC
  • Newness
  • Relevance of presented innovation(s)

The first two points of criteria are valued at 30 points each. The second two are valued at 20 points each. A perfect submission would receive 100 points total. All other factors, including order of submissions, will have no bearing on acceptance. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Conflict of Interest

Please review the SC Conference Conflict of Interest guidelines before submitting your proposal.

Plagiarism

Please review the ACM guidelines on identifying plagiarism.
