Biography
Jayaraman J. Thiagarajan received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA, in 2013. He is currently a Computer Scientist with the Center for Applied Scientific Computing, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, CA, USA. He has co-authored two books. His current research interests include machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, signal processing, topological data analysis, the investigation of using machine learning for science, clinical data analysis, high-performance computing, computed tomography, and building tools for model interpretability. Dr. Thiagarajan was a recipient of the multiple Best Paper Nominations at premier IEEE conferences. He has served as a reviewer for several IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, and Springer journals and conferences.
