Biography
Daniel S. Katz is Assistant Director for Scientific Software and Applications at NCSA, Research Associate Professor in Computer Science (CS), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), and the School of Information Sciences (iSchool), and Guest Faculty at Argonne National Laboratory. He leads/co-leads many activities to promote research software sustainability, including as Co-PI of URSSI, instigator of the US RSE community, co-founder of the WSSSPE event series, and co-founder of the Research Software Alliance (ReSA).
