Benjamin Hernandez is a computer scientist in the Oak Ridge Leadership Computing Facility at ORNL. Before joining ORNL, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and a professor in computer sciences at the Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico City. He provides advice to Summit supercomputer users to enable scientific discovery through the development and implementation of scalable visualization and data technologies. His research interests are in the intersection of interactive computer graphics, HCI, and high performance computing. He has a MS and PhD in Computer Science from the Tecnologico de Monterrey Campus Estado de Mexico.
