Presenter

Feng Yan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno. He has a broad interest in big data and system areas. His current research focus includes machine learning, cloud/edge/fog computing, high performance computing, storage, and cross-disciplinary topics among them and others. He obtained both M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary, and worked at Microsoft Research and HP Labs. He was a recipient of the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE CLOUD 2018 and the Best Paper Award at CLOUD 2019.
