Biography
Victor Lee is a principal engineer and the director of engineering at Intel’s Data Center Group. He leads a group of application experts to engage HPC / AI developers to take advantage of the full performance modern computing platforms have to offer. His group had worked with researchers and scientists worldwide in many national labs, universities and enterprises in a wild range of HPC and data analytics domains from fundamental physics to wind mill simulations, from quantum mechanics to machine learning. Victor’s research interest include computer architecture (especially on energy efficient compute), hardware-software co-design, performance portability and productivity, application of machine learning to real life problems.
