Biography
Dr. Daniel White is an Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His expertise is in finite element methods applied to problems in electromagnetics, solids, fluids, and plasmas. He is currently leading a project on topology optimization, i.e. using nonlinear programming to optimize the shape and topology of a structure to meet specific objectives and constraints.
