Ahmad Abdelfattah received his PhD in computer science from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2015, where he was a member of the Extreme Computing Research Center (ECRC). He is currently a research scientist in the Innovative Computing Laboratory at the University of Tennessee. He works on high performance numerical linear algebra, mostly focusing on GPU computing. Ahmad has B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt.
