Biography
CCIE No. 5135 (Routing and Switching and Voice) and CISSP, is an Architect in Cisco’s Public Sector organization. As an architect, he has been providing Cloud/SDN architectures and solutions to the Public Sector customers and currently drives research computing/HPC at Cisco. He also leads Cisco GENI architecture and design (GENI is an NSF funded SDN initiative). Prior to his current role, he had been supporting several large Systems Integrators for Cisco’s strategic federal programs.
Prior to Cisco, he was a Network Architect at Northrop Grumman for where he provided network solutions and architectures to various federal agencies. He also has consulting and Service Provider experience in internetworking.
Although, his passion in IT is deeply rooted in internetworking, his 20+ years of IT experience includes a wide range of technologies. He has publications such as Configurable DAS and patents on Proxy Address Resolution Protocols on Controllers for SDN.
