Georgios Goumas

Biography
Georgios Goumas is an Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. He received a PhD Degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of NTUA in January 2004. His research interests include high-performance computing and architectures, resource-aware computing, automatic parallelizing compilers, parallel programming models, run-time systems, scheduling for CMP and extreme-scale systems, performance modeling and others. He has published more than 40 research papers in journals, international conferences and peer-reviewed workshops. He is a member of the IEEE, HiPEAC and of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
