Stephen Lien Harrell is a Senior Computational Scientist in Research Computing at Purdue University. He is involved in a number projects aimed at HPC education and the long tail of research computing at Purdue. Previously, Stephen spent more than 6 years as a Senior HPC System Administrator on the Research Systems team at Purdue and has more than 15 years of experience in System Administration at scale. Stephen served as the chair of the Student Cluster Competition at SC16 and SC17 and is currently serving as the Students@SC chair at SC19.
