Biography
Rob Neely is the Weapons Simulation and Computing (WSC) Program Coordinator for Computing Environments at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory where he oversees and coordinates activities between LLNL’s production application code teams, Livermore Computing (LC), the Center for Applied Scientific Computing (CASC), and the El Capitan Center of Excellence. He is also the CASC Associate Division Leader, and represents DOE as the Exascale Computing Project lead for NNSA Software. In all of those roles, performance portability is major factor in defining a long-term strategy for DOE's application teams and software stack support.
