Biography
I am a PhD candidate at Northeastern University pursing research in supercomputing systems under the supervision of Professor Devesh Tiwari. Prior to my PhD position, I received an Honors Bachelor in Applied Science degree from University of Toronto and held the position of an ASIC Chip Synthesis Owner at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). My current research focuses on several overlapping supercomputing areas: low overhead and optimal checkpointing of multiple parallel applications sharing storage back-end, mitigation and handling of I/O contention in large scale storage systems, and lastly, efficient power management and usage of over-provisioned computing centers.
